CollectionArtPrintSerigraph

Screenprinting is a process in which a stencil is placed on a screen. Ink is forced through the screen onto the paper, fabric or metal. Silkscreening uses silk to support the stencil. The terms screenprint, silkscreen, and serigraph all refer to this process.
