Harper's Weekly 1862 Chambersburg, PA Civil War. Black; cream. Paper. This original page contains three engravings. The first engraving is titled, "Burning The Engine House and Machine Shops At Chambersburg, PA.--Sketched by Mr. Davis." It shows civilians watching the burning buildings. The second engraving is titled, "The Rebels Exchanging Their Rags For U. S. Army Overcoats At Chambersburg, PA.--Sketched by Mr. Davis." The third engraving is titled, "The Rebel Foray In Pennsylvania--General View of Chambersburg.--Sketched by Mr. Davis." It shows soldiers and civilians in a field across a creek from the town. Some buildings are burned out. ; THIS IS AN ORIGINAL WOOD ENGRAVING.
