Painted Ladder-back Chair. Green; orange; yellow; red; black and cream. Wood and rush. The chair retains its original overall green paint with stenciled flower designs on the three back slats and a slat beneath the front of the seat. Triple rings on the front legs and back stiles are painted orange. The hand carved stiles and front legs are vase and ring turned. The stiles end in large knobs. The front legs have peg feet. The chair has five carved stretchers and its original woven rush seat.
