Harper's Weekly Civil War Cartoons 1861. Black; cream. Paper. This original page contains four political cartoons and a circus ad. The original engraved ad is titled, "Barnums American Museum." It shows two hippopotamus with their mouths open. The first cartoon is titled, "Costume suggested for the Brave Stay-at-Home Light Guard." The second cartoon is titled, "The National Purse The Best Auxiliary." It is inialed, "N." The third engraved cartoon is titled, "The Right Spirit." The fourth cartoon is titled, "An Affectionate Testimonal To The Pennsylvania Fourth, and To Varians (N.Y.) Field Battery." ; THIS IS AN ORIGINAL WOOD ENGRAVING.
